Spring 2009:

Spring is finally here and we are gearing up for another great summer! Some of the improvements we will be working on include landscaping, installing memorial brick pavers from our fundraising campaign and building new bunk beds for the rest of the girls cabins. If you are interested in helping out, our Teen Work Camp is May 16-17. Help get camp ready for the season and connect with your camping friends from last summer. Click HERE for a registration form.

For those of you interested in booking camp for the 2009 season, please refer to our "Calendar" section to the left to see what dates are available. We are very fortunate to have a full summer camping season but there is still room for your group in the late summer or fall of 2009. Email campgraham@verizon.net for more information.

What is 4-H?

This year, 286,000 Ohio youth will be involved in 4-H -- a non-formal educational program for youth ages 5-19. 4-H is the largest youth organization in the country. 4-H'ers learn by doing as they participate in projects and many other activities designed to help them develop as individuals and become responsible, productive members of society. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skill.

Volunteers are vital to the success of 4-H activities. In Ohio, 25,000 volunteers contribute nearly one million hours to 4-H each year. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and leadership help 4-H build the foundation that prepares young people for the future.
